Family-Owned Water Purification in Salt Lake City Since 1996

Water + Wellness started with a simple belief: that clean water is the foundation of good health. For our founder, Alex Hoggan, that belief began with his own health journey. After dealing with kidney stones, he started researching the connection between water and health. What he learned changed how he thought about something most people never question: what's actually in the water we drink every day. In 1996, he opened Water + Wellness to give his community access to truly clean, purified water.

Alex ran the store for two decades before handing it to his son, Walter, in 2016. Walter grew up in the business and carries on what his father started, with the same belief that drove his father. To help grow what the family built, Walter brought on two business partners: his cousin Abe Yagi and Spencer Crocker. Both have been instrumental in expanding the business beyond the store.

What we're really about is simple: clean water for every human. We love helping our neighbors across the Salt Lake valley get water that's good for their health. But we don't want to stop there.

Our goal reaches beyond Utah. We believe clean water is a basic human need, and we want to help provide it to people in developing countries who don't have access. As we grow, our hope is to give clean water to families who need it most, free of charge. That's the future we're working toward.
